  2. Document Review, Screening & Interview Stage: November 2025 to the end of May 2026
  3. Notification of Final Round Application Results: By the end of July 2026

Applications will be processed on a rolling basis.
We encourage you to take early action before the available spots are filled.

Step 1: Submit the Online Application Form and Supporting Documents

During the application period, applicants must submit the online application form along with all required supporting documents.

Before applying, it is strongly recommended that applicants carefully review the programme information and the "Important Note to Applicants" .

The online application form must be completed in English. Applicants are required to fill out all sections from A to J in full and provide accurate and truthful information.

Please double-check your online application before submitting, as amendments may not be available once submitted.

Required Application Documents
 
  1. Completed application form with a recent photo (i.e., approximately 40mm (Width) x 50 mm (Height) showing a full frontal face with clear facial features
  2. A Photocopy of HKID Card or other identification document (ie. passport/ EEP 往來港澳通行證)
  3. Photocopies of the Graduation Certificate(s) and/or Degree Certificate(s) of your undergraduate/postgraduate studies 
    • For qualifications obtained in Mainland China:
      The Graduation Certificate AND Degree Certification should be accompanied by the Online Verification Report of Higher Education Qualification Certificate and Online Verification Report of Higher Education Degree Certificate by CHSI 學信網 (教育部學籍線上驗證報告及中國高等教育學位 線上驗證報告) 
    • For Mainland Applicants with overseas qualifications
      The Graduation Certificate and/or Degree Certification should be accompanied by the Overseas Credential Evaluation Report (國外學歷學位認證書) issued by Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE) (教育部留學服務中心) 

      (Please ensure that the three reports above remain valid for at least the next six month)
  4. Photocopies of Official Transcript(s) with Grading Scheme from post-secondary institutions/universities attended
  5. Medium of Instruction Certificate, or TOEFL / IELTS score report
  6. Personal Statement and CV
  7. Portfolio (if any) 
  8. TWO Referees Contact

Within 1 month after submitting your online application, you are required to mail the following documents to the Programme Office at Hong Kong Shue Yan University.

Official transcripts from your undergraduate and postgraduate studies must be sent directly by the issuing institution to the Programme Office in a sealed envelope for verification purposes.  Please send the above Transcript Request Form  (PDF version)  to your institution while applying your transcript copy.

  •  If you hold degrees from multiple universities, please submit transcripts for ALL qualifications to support verification.
  • For top-up degree holders, transcripts of the sub-degree programme should also be provided.
  • For final-year undergraduate student, please first submit your latest transcript for assessment. Programs may extend conditional offers to selected applicants before the required qualifications are obtained. If you receive a conditional offer, you are required to submit the official, final transcripts and degree certificates for verification when available.

Step 2: Payment of Application Fee

After submitting the online application, applicants will receive an automated email notification containing their application number and instructions for downloading the payment notice. The application fee must be paid before the deadline. Late payment will be considered as a withdrawal of the application, and any submitted online application will be voided. The application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.


Step 3:  Application Review & Interview

The admissions panel will carefully assess each application based on the completeness of submitted documents, educational background, work experience (if applicable), and other relevant information.

Applications must be accurately completed and submitted online with all required documents. Incomplete submissions, incorrect information, late applications, or false declarations will not be considered.

Shortlisted applicants will be notified via email regarding interview arrangements. Interviews may be conducted on campus at Hong Kong Shue Yan University or via online platforms. Applicants who perform well in the interview may be offered conditional admission.


Step 4:  Notification of Admission Results

All applicants will be notified of their application results by the end of July. Please note that no explanation, report, or reason will be provided for unsuccessful applications.

If the application is unsuccessful, submitted forms and documents will not be returned. They will be securely destroyed and will not be used for any other purpose.

 

Step 5:  Acceptance of Offer and Payment of Frist Installment of Tuition Fee 

Applicants who receive an admission offer must confirm their acceptance within the specified timeframe. Upon acceptance, applicants are required to pay the first installment of tuition fee.

(If you receive a conditional offer, you must submit a deposit and meet all specified requirements within the given timeframe in order to secure your place and proceed to the issuance of the formal admission offer.)

If you are a non-local student, please submit all student visa required documents promptly after accepting the offer. Detailed instructions can be found in the admission system. Late submission may result in delays that could affect your ability to begin your studies on time and may impact your academic performance due to insufficient attendance.
