2025年10月11日下午,香港樹仁大學應用數據科學系會籌備委員會成員,携手商業投資學會及68名參與同學,在研究院綜合大樓低座5樓502室,共同參與了由兩組織聯合主辦的秋季論文研究工具講座。本次活動旨在通過專題研討與實踐指導,幫助學生掌握研究工作流程、AI寫作技巧及實用增效工具,提升學術研究效率與論文寫作能力,同時加強系會與學生及商業投資學會的聯繫。

此次秋季論文研究工具講座圓滿落幕,不僅讓90%以上參與學生掌握了論文系統化管理方法、AI工具基本操作及APA格式規範,還通過跨部門合作擴大了系會校內影響力,達成「學術支持+組織聯絡」雙重目標。許多同學反馈活動內容結構清晰、實用性強,並期待更多此類學術活動;系會籌備委員會也將總結本次經驗,考慮減少工具內容數量、更換網絡更佳場地,同時保留跨部門合作模式與「理論+實踐+互動」內容結構,為後續開展高質量學術支持活動奠定基礎。

On the afternoon of October 11, 2025, members of the Preparatory Committee for the Department of Applied Data Science at Hong Kong Shue Yan University, in collaboration with the Business Investment Society and 68 participating students, jointly attended the Fall Research Tools Workshop for Theses. The event was co-hosted by both organizations in Room 502, 5th Floor, Low Block of the Graduate School. This event aimed to enhance students' academic research efficiency and thesis writing skills through specialized workshops and practical guidance, covering research workflow management, AI writing techniques, and productivity tools. It also strengthened ties between the Department Committee, students, and the Business Investment Society.

The Autumn Thesis Research Tools Workshop concluded successfully. Not only did over 90% of participating students master systematic thesis management methods, foundational AI tool operations, and APA formatting standards, but cross-departmental collaboration also expanded the Department Committee's campus influence, achieving the dual objectives of "academic support + organizational networking." Numerous students praised the event for its clear structure and strong practicality, expressing anticipation for more such academic activities. The Department Association Preparatory Committee will summarize this experience, considering reducing the number of tools covered and securing a better online venue while retaining the cross-departmental collaboration model and the "theory + practice + interaction" content structure. This will lay the foundation for delivering high-quality academic support activities in the future.
