Hong Kong Shue Yan University gladly welcomed representatives from Hasbro and iFREE GROUP to pay a visit at iFREE GROUP Innovation and Research Centre on 6 September 2021. Prof. Louis Leung, Head of Department of Applied Data Science, and Dr. Connie Yuen, Associate Head of Department of Applied Data Science gave an introduction of the department, the facilities of the research centre, the ongoing and future research projects. All the efforts made by the department are in response to the “reinventing the liberal arts education” at Shue Yan. The visitors had a fun experience with the social robots and the immersive technologies in the 1-hour lab visit prepared by the department.
