The Department of Applied Data Science is pleased to invite you to attend the iFREE GROUP Innovation and Research Centre Colloquium Series 2021/22 workshop tailor-made for SYU and delivered by Amazon Web Services (AWS) certified instructor on AWS Cloud Essentials for Business Leaders.
 
AWS Academy provides higher education institutions with a free, ready-to-teach cloud computing curriculum that prepares students to pursue industry-recognized certifications and in-demand cloud jobs.
 
In this 2-hour fundamental workshop, you will learn the basic concepts of cloud computing and how a cloud strategy can help companies meet business objectives. It explores the advantages and possibilities of cloud computing. It dives into the business value of the cloud through customer examples, and the Cloud Value Framework, which helps you understand the business value of building on AWS by assessing cost and value impact.
 
Here are some topics will be discussed in the workshop:
A.          What is Cloud Computing?
B.          Benefits of Cloud for Business
C.          Case Study about Business Value
 
By the end of this session you will gain:
1.           the key concepts of cloud computing, and how they can unlock business value,
2.           an understanding on how businesses use cloud technology to innovate and build new solutions for their customers and business processes.
