The 1st Hong Kong Shue Yan University Esports Tournament (VALORANT) Concludes Successfully!

To enrich students' campus life and promote interaction among different departments, the "1st Hong Kong Shue Yan University Esports Tournament — VALORANT", co-organized by the Department of Applied Data Science (ADS Department) and the Applied Data Science Society (ADS Society), successfully concluded on March 27th!

The event was a spectacular success, bringing together students from all 12 departments across HKSYU. The tournament attracted 30 esports enthusiasts who formed 6 elite cross-departmental teams to compete fiercely. Following the preliminary rounds from March 23rd to 25th, the semi-finals on the 26th, and the highly anticipated grand final on the 27th, all teams demonstrated exceptional competitive standards and teamwork at the Game Development Lab.

🏆 Tournament Results Revealed 🏆

After a series of intense battles, an elite cross-departmental team emerged victorious, claiming the ultimate championship of the inaugural tournament! The champion team was awarded a "Golden Award and Certificate", while the first and second runners-up received a "Silver Award and Certificate" and a "Bronze Award and Certificate" respectively. All participating students also received a certificate of participation as encouragement.

第一屆樹仁大學電競大賽《瓦羅蘭特 VALORANT》圓滿落幕！
 

為豐富同學的校園生活並促進各學系之間的交流，由香港樹仁大學應用數據科學學系（ADS Department）與應用數據科學系系會（ADS Society）聯合主辦的「第一屆樹仁大學電競大賽——瓦羅蘭特 VALORANT」已於 3 月 27 日圓滿結束！

本次賽事盛況空前，成功邀請了樹仁大學全校 12 個學系的同學共襄盛舉。賽事共吸引了 30 位電競好手參與，組成 6 支跨學系精英隊伍展開激烈角逐。經過 3 月 23 日至 25 日的初賽、26 日的半決賽，以及 27 日萬眾矚目的總決賽，各隊伍在 遊戲實驗室進行比賽， 賽場上展現了極高的競技水準與團隊默契。

經過連場激戰，最終由一支跨學系組成的精英隊伍脫穎而出，勇奪首屆賽事總冠軍！冠軍隊伍獲頒發「金獎及獎狀」，亞軍及季軍隊伍亦分別獲得「銀獎及獎狀」與「銅獎及獎狀」，而所有參賽同學均獲發參與證書以茲鼓勵。
