Department of Applied Data Science Year 3 students, Chong Ka Kin, Lee Tin Lok, Yip King Hang, along with faculty member Dr. Muhammad Azhar who received the award with them, participated in the prestigious Huawei ICT Competition 2025-2026 AI Innovation Track and secured 3rd prize. 

The competition gathered student teams from various universities worldwide to showcase innovative AI-driven solutions addressing real-world challenges using Huawei technologies like MindSpore. This achievement highlights the department's dedication to nurturing talent in artificial intelligence and ICT innovation, showcasing their capability to excel in highly competitive, technology-focused events that advance digital transformation and practical AI applications.
