Our faculty member Dr. Wong Ying-Kit with our ADS students to achieve the Bronze Prize Award at the Techno-Humanities Entrepreneurship Competition 2025. This remarkable accomplishment highlights the dedication and innovative spirit of our faculty and students in advancing interdisciplinary knowledge.

The Award Ceremony for the Saint Francis Prize in Techno-Humanities (AI Humanities) 2025, and the Award Ceremony for the Techno-Humanities Entrepreneurship Competition 2025, co-organized by the Ip Ying To Lee Yu Yee School of Humanities and Languages and the Lions Youth Innovation and Technology Foundation (LYITF). Both hosted by Saint Francis University.

These ceremonies symbolically represent our University’s commitment to AI as an applied science and the School’s efforts to foster entrepreneurial opportunities for students across humanities and other fields of study.

The Guests of Honour for the Saint Francis Prize include Mr. Kevin Choi, Permanent Secretary for Innovation, Technology, and Industry, HKSAR Government, and Professor Stephen Cheung, President of Saint Francis University. During the event, trophies, certificates, and cash subsidies for the competition were presented by representatives of the Lions Club.

Following the ceremonies, a one-day international conference will feature 7 keynote speeches and 16 scholarly papers exploring the intersection of AI and the humanities, further advancing discussions in this exciting and dynamic field.
