On 24 October 2025, colleague of the Department of Applied Data Science have been invited to participate in the 2025 Future Science Prize Week, an event celebrating the achievements in the field of science. Established in 2016 through the collaborative efforts of scientists and entrepreneurs, the Future Science Prize emphasizes original basic scientific research and recognizes individuals (regardless of nationality) who have made significant scientific contributions in the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, or Taiwan.

This year’s event features a series of world-class scientific activities, including a 5-day program from 22 October to 26 October, to be held in Hong Kong. Notably, the Laureate Academic Lectures will showcase Nobel Prize winners who will guide the public in exploring cutting-edge developments in global science from a forward-looking perspective.
