✨Exhibition Theme:
Under the weight of severe trauma, a person shatters.
To keep our core self from completely collapsing, the brain triggers a ruthless defense mechanism: dissociation. We tear away a part of ourselves, leaving it behind as a wandering soul fragment.
This exhibition is a séance. With clay and fire, I sculpted ceramics to seal away trauma, fear, and obsession. Here, Mixed Reality (MR) technology sheds its cold facade, transforming into a medium that channels the soul fragments trapped within the porcelain.
Yet, dissecting these darkest slices is not merely to display suffering. Trauma is a hidden frequency shared by all humanity.
When the fixations within the ceramics invade the physical realm as illusions; when you reach out to unfreeze the frozen body; when you draw a door in the void, letting the spirit fish rest in your palms... you are not just witnessing my healing. You are comforting the fragment deep within yourself—the one hiding in the corner, waiting to be seen.
We have all been shattered. But if we dare to look directly into the cracks, those exiled fragments can finally be reclaimed.
